CreatrHS strange behavior when starting a print

Does this behavior seem normal to anyone? When I start a print, when it draws the boundary around the print area, it seems to have a really hard time, it glitches and pauses sometimes making a lot of noise. However, when the print starts, it prints with normal movement.

I sometimes get this, not quite as bad as your video though. I put it down to the way simplify3D has to increase the outer perimeter to make the skirt/brim. I assume it takes the original mesh points, moves them away, and extrapolates between them. This extrapolation doesn't create very smooth movements. I could be wrong but that's the conclusion I drew
