print start

Hi, Does anyone know why the printer starts printing before the extruder head reaches the pre-programmed temperature?

Depends, the only reason I can think of is if you did not enable the option to wait for temperature to stabilize before printing starts. This is only assuming you are using Simplify 3D to generate the gcodes.

In the temperature tab you have the option to enable or dissable this feature.

Hi Mircea, It was indeed the Simplify3D setting. The printer is running now the way it's supposed to. Thank you for your help.

Glad to hear it.

Happy printing!
